How to Delete Followers on Instagram

Instagram is a great place to share your photos of everyday life, but perhaps there are people you don't really want to share with. Trouble is, they are following you! This article will show you how to block them from your Instagram feed.

Launch Instagram. It's the app that looks like a vintage camera.

Open the profile tab. At the bottom right of the Instagram screen, tap the Profile button. At the top of your profile, you will see the "followers" button. Tap that to display a list of all your followers.

Tap their user name. When you've located the user you wish to delete, tap on their name to open their profile.

Tap on the arrow button. It's located at the top right of the profile screen. It will pull up a menu at the bottom of the screen.

Tap "Block User." Tap the first button, "Block User," to remove them from your list and to keep them from following your posts.

Confirm deletion. Just to be sure, Instagram wants you to confirm deletion. Tap the "Yes, I'm sure" button.

Your follower is now blocked from following your feed. Note: their icon may remain in your list, temporarily, but will be gone the next time you load your follower's page.[1]
